Gut vorbereitet ins Jobinterview

Es ist geschafft: Die Einladung zum Vorstellungsgespräch ist da! Jetzt heißt es, einen guten Eindruck machen – fachlich wie persönlich.

Was zählt im Interview?
Neben dem technischen Wissen achten Interviewpartner*innen besonders auf:

  • Motivation
  • Soft Skills
  • Karriereziele
  • Werte
  • Persönlichkeit

So bereitest du dich optimal vor:
Informiere dich: Recherchiere über das Unternehmen, seine Produkte, Technologien und Werte. Je besser du Bescheid weißt, desto gezielter kannst du deine Antworten formulieren.

Kenne deinen Lebenslauf:
Reflektiere über deinen bisherigen Weg:

  • Was hat dich motiviert?
  • Wo hast du Projekterfahrung gesammelt?
  • Welche Rolle übernimmst du in Teamarbeiten?
  • Was hast du in deinen beruflichen Situationen gelernt?
  • Worauf bist du besonders stolz?

Übe deine Selbstpräsentation:
Wie du dich zu Beginn eines Interviews präsentierst, liegt in deiner Hand. Übe, dich innerhalb von 2–4 Minuten vorzustellen und wiederhole nicht nur eins zu eins deinen Lebenslauf.

Bereite dich auf situative Fragen vor:
Häufig werden in Interviews situative Fragen gestellt, die darauf abzielen, das Verhalten in gewissen Situationen bzw. die Werte von Bewerber*innen kennenzulernen. Erzähle dabei, wie du beispielsweise in Projekten vorgegangen bist und vor allem, was du daraus gelernt hast oder welches Ergebnis erzielt wurde.

Stelle Fragen:
Zeig Interesse, z. B. zu Teamstrukturen, Technologien, Prozessen oder Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten.

Technisches Wissen parat haben:
In technischen Interviews kann es zu Fachfragen, Fallstudien oder kleinen Aufgaben kommen – frische wichtige Grundlagen auf.

Ein Studium liefert Fachwissen – im Interview zählen zusätzlich Persönlichkeit und Vorbereitung. Wer Stärken kennt, sich mit dem Unternehmen auseinandersetzt und souverän auftritt, hat die besten Chancen.

Dos:

  • Pünktlich sein (auch online)
  • Klar und authentisch antworten
  • Beispiele nennen
  • Motivation und Interesse zeigen
  • Angemessenen Blickkontakt halten, professionell bleiben

Don'ts:

  • Auswendig gelernte Antworten geben oder
    den Lebenslauf „vorlesen“
  • Negative Aussagen über frühere Erfahrungen
  • Fachbegriffe nutzen, die du nicht erklären kannst
  • Kein Interesse am Unternehmen oder der Position zeigen
