Seeking support is a strength
Why asking for support is a future skill
The student survey shows that many students feel under pressure. Seeking support is not a weakness, but a sign of self-leadership. At TU Wien, different forms of support are available depending on your needs.
We are aware that studies can be challenging and it is very common that students seek advice. We are right here! Here we show you where you can get support at TU Wien and give an overview of the differences:
Career consultation or career coaching?
Are you looking for a job, planning your career or reflecting on your strengths? During a consultation session, you'll get practical tips from experts for your career start. In a coaching session, on the other hand, you are the expert and develop your own solutions, while certified coaches guide you by reflective questions. Not sure whether consulting or coaching is the right fit? This will be clarified in the first session.
Community & peers
Do you need more time to open up to other people? Or do you want to meet new people? You will find various communities and events at TU Wien where you can exchange experiences with fellow students going through similar situations. Exchange with peers and belonging to communities can provide balance and new energy. Check out the TU Wien Community site or the HTU event calendar for current happenings-just give it a try and drop by the next event.
