to dive into:

The story of worldclass semiconductor manufacturing”.

Join the SummerSchool 2026 and explore the fascinating world of microelectronics. Look forward to exclusive tours over our production site, technical lectures by industry experts, hands-on workshops and valuable networking opportunities.

Once you’ve discovered step by step how a chip comes to life, our program moves to a deep dive into ion implantation and annealing.

This focus is strengthened by this year’s highlight: Villach hosts the 25th International Conference on Ion Implantation and Annealing Technologies (IIT).

Midway through the SummerSchool, IIT’s international speakers and specialists will join your sessions with their expertise and experience. Take the chance to learn from leading researchers, explore current trends and build connections that last.

(Infineon Austria will cover costs for accommodation (youth hostel), participation in the program and in company catering. The travel reimbursement is proportional to the distance traveled, up to max € 200,00).
