Schiebel Elektronische Geräte
High-Tech Company and Global Market Leader
The Austrian family business Schiebel was founded in Vienna in 1951. In the 1980s, the company shifted its focus to the development and production of sophisticated mine detectors. A major contract from the U.S. Army was instrumental in establishing Schiebel as the world market leader in this field. From the mid-1990s, Schiebel expanded its portfolio to include the development of unmanned helicopters. With the CAMCOPTER® S-100, the company was also able to successfully expand its leading position in this highly specialised field of technology.
The Schiebel Group has its headquarters in Vienna and the production facility in Wiener Neustadt, as well as branches in Manassas (USA), Abu Dhabi (VAE) und Shoalhaven (Australien).
Internships
We know how important initial work experience is and are delighted to get to know new interns every year. These positions are often not advertised, as we receive numerous unsolicited applications.
