In-depth knowledge of biotechnology and bioprocess engineering
Understanding of cell culture, fermentation and biological production processes

Experience in the planning, execution and evaluation of process trials
Understanding of scale-up and the transfer of laboratory processes to larger scales
Proficiency in the use of data analysis and laboratory tools, as well as GMP guidelines
Responsibilities
Develop and optimise biotechnological production processes
Plan, carry out and evaluate cell cultures and fermentation processes
Optimise process parameters such as temperature, pH, nutrient supply and oxygen content
Further develop methods for the processing and purification of biological products
Scale up laboratory and pilot processes to larger production scales
Analyse process data, document experiments and identify measures for improvement
